Rand blocks fast path NDAA renewal

Rand wants two amendments to the current NDAA bill. One is to restore a clause that was in the House bill on AUMF (Military force authorization) and one on indefinite detention.

McCain, who headed to Arizona for treatment, was not happy and made it known. McConnell was also likely not happy.

I have no problem with his action or discussion on this or any massive spending bill. What I fear will happen however is that layers and layers of Pork or unrelated regulations will be added to get the votes to pass it.
