AllenR
Dunkirk - NOT GOOD! Total disappointment. Slow. Boring. No emotions stirred. They need to stop comparing it to Saving Private Ryan. Unless it's to say it was Awesome and Dunkirk sucks. It was only slightly better than The Thin Red Line. I say that because we stayed until the end. Left halfway through thin red line. Pearl Harbor with Ben Affleck, Josh Hartnet, Kate something was more intense than this.
AllenR
The 1st scene started out on the right foot, sort of like an opening chase scene of a James Bond movie. But not as good. After that initial 30 seconds, it crawled to a near stop.
AllenR
Even the air combat scenes were boring. The opening scene(s) of Saving Private Ryan left me exhausted. Dunkirk just made me want to go to sleep

AllenR
Let's see what @AllenR says, I think he may have had a preview of it It actually opened last night. I had seen the trailer several timea over past couple of months. Read a few reviews. I'm now convinced that most of those reviews were PAID and based somely on the trailers
Content1
Thank you for the feedback. Looks like this is one I'll wait to watch a few years down the road on a rainy Sunday on Netflix! I'm a big fan of war movies as well. It's going to take a monumental for any film to equal or best the likes of a "Saving Private Ryan!"

Which I agree with! Damn, I'll be disappointed with Dunkirk! Lol, is it the Harry Styles factor!?!?
