What Was Your Favorite Kids' Book as a Child?

This was mine. Don't really know why, but it was. Same person who wrote the "Misty of Chincoteague" book series.

Was introduced to Roald Dahl when I was in first grade. Read "The BFG" when I was in second and it's probably still my favorite for those early years.

Get a couple years older (4th Grade or so) and Norton Juster's "The Phantom Tollbooth" went through so many readings by the time I was in middle school that the binding fell apart.

Think I requested this every night at bedtime, before I learned to read.

My first purchase. Re-read this a few years ago. Still resonates with me.

Mom read me these and I loved them.

Goosebumps and the Bailey School Kids once I got into grade school.

I also read a lot of Goosebumps as a kid.

I remember enjoying this one quite a bit when I was younger. Maybe Middle School.
