As a part of the celebration of the Bengal's 50th year of existence, the organization is having fans vote on a "First 50" team of the 50 greatest past Bengals players. The voting period has officially ended, but I thought it might be fun to discuss who you'd pick by position.

Given the percent of specialists from the total pool of players to choose from, you should be able to pick 5 of them from this list and still keep a fairly even distribution from among other positions.

You can check out the players in the link and look at some basic info on their individual careers with the team. Bengals First 50

Jennings amd Mack where great returners.

Very good but not as good as Parrish.

I think Parrish has the record for punts returned for a TD and was a great kick returner as well. This was a miss by the Bengals.

Am I wrong for thinking Kevin Huber needs to be in this conversation somewhere?

Holds franchise records for gross average and net punting. Been with Bengals for 7 years now, only getting better averages as the years go on.

Pretty sure the "rules" were no current players and no players at multiple positions.
