Fidget Spinners

Anyone else played with one of these?

Youngest child got one and I can't put it down :lol2:

The thing will seemingly spin forever. I'm pretty sure the precision these are made with is beyond what most WWII planes were made with.

My wife ordered me and my adult son a couple...I guess so I'd give my daughters back to her :lol2:

Junior Parker has one and drives the cat crazy with it.

Amazing how many different fads I've seen this year at school.

I get it and don't at the same time. My wife doesn't want my son to have one bc she thinks it makes a joke out of kids who need these for ADHD and who have autism.

In the later years with my employer more and more when we had off site training of any type, the trainers would leave things like pipe cleaners on the tables. Thinking was that some people learn better if they have something to keep their hands busy. FYI I was a pro at making pipe cleaner Palm Trees, Bikes and Swans...I also never made below a 90 on an exit exam :ylsuper:

I think they are great fun. The problem is that they are also very distracting to other students. For the purpose of "occupying" the fidgety student, I prefer the fidget cube.

We just bought 5 of them for our house. The kids love them.

I need one. I will wear out a clicky pen any time i have one in my hand.

So what do you do with it? Just hold it and spin it?

Pretty much, that's it. But they spin easier and much longer than you'd expect.
