2017 All "A" Classic State Tourney

2017 All A State Tourney is slated to start on Saturday morning at Jack Fisher Park in Owensboro. The top two teams from each pool advance to Sunday's one an out tourney. Louisville Holy Cross is the defending champ, having won in 2015 & 2016, and runners-up in 2014.

Green County (18-3)

Whitefield Academy (5-3)

Williamstown (12-5)

Pikeville (17-3)

 

Pool B

Cumberland County (8-7)

Newport Catholic (11-9)

Washington County (7-9)

Middlesboro (11-7)

 

Pool C

Crittenden County (16-4)

Louisville Holy Cross (13-8)

Wolfe County (14-4)

Raceland (18-3)

 

Pool D

Carlisle County (9-8)

Hancock County (12-5)

Paris (10-10)

Lexington Christian Academy (14-5)

Big THANK YOU to the Newport Police Dept. for providing the NewCath team bus a 4 car escort from the "hill" to the Wilder exit on 275......it was neat that they had cars stationed at traffic lights along the route to 471 allowing us non-stop travel.

To go to an invitational tournament???? We play in London tomorrow in a tournament. Maybe I can get the FTPD to get us an escort!!!

We always travel in style.

 

I'll see if I can pull some strongs with the Ft. Thomas PD, the chief is a NewCath grad.
