The timing of it is what is the oddest thing IMO.

He just beat a double-murder charge, his new attorney (same dude that got Casey Anthony off) just said a couple days ago that both he and Hernandez felt they had a really good case for an appeal and a possible retrial on the Odin Lloyd murder conviction. For a dude spending life in prison, he had had a lot of promising news over the past week. Just seems odd that now of all times he'd want to end it.

Unless someone ended it for him and made it look like suicide. Or maybe that time behind bars got him to a mental place he couldn't escape. Crazy things happen in prison.

First thing that crossed my mind was someone threatened his daughter....But you're absolutely right. No telling what his mental state has been and what was going on.

It would take quite a few to hang him.

"Time behind bars got him to a mental place he could not escape"? Dude was accused of killing how many people? I think he was a little off center to begin with.

Well, as callous as it sounds, I'll be glad not to see it on the front page of all the news outlets much longer. I hate it for his family and all that he's put them through. Hope he got right before he turned out the lights.

Now they (ESPN)are asking if it's the right thing to do for the Patriots to do their visit to the White House!?!? Why wouldn't it be? This dude is a non story, out of the league coming up on 5 years, move on ESPN, get him out of the news!
