2017 CAPITAL CITY SHOWCASE

POOLS

Pool A

Campbell Co​​, Collins, Evergreen Park IL, Warren East

 

POOL B

Anderson Co​, Franklin OH, Lafayette, Meade Co

 

POOL C

CAL​, Franklin Co, Shelby Co​

 

POOL D

Kings OH, Ryle, Spencer Co, ​​​Madisonville

 

The top three teams in pools A, B, D along with all teams in pool C will advance to a single elimination tournament.

Tie breaker rules: 1) head to head 2) least total runs allowed in pool play 3) most total runs scored in pool play 4) coin toss.

No infield practice. Home team will be determined by a coin toss during pool play games. Highest seed will be home team during tournament games. If two teams have the same seed the home team will be determined by a coin toss.

One hour and twenty minute time limit on pool play games. One hour and thirty minute time limit on single elimination tournament games. No time limit on championship game.

International tiebreaker will be used after 7 innings.

Games will be played at Lakeview Park and Franklin County’s Sally Gaines Field.

Franklin County will use their home third base dugout when playing at Sally Gaines Field.

Spencer Co. Comes back in the bottom on the 5th for the 7-6 win over Ryle.

Captital City Showcase in Frankfort for today and tomorrow has been cancelled due to weather.

So are teams just playing games? I know Campbell County played last night and lost

Did the Lady Camels come back home on Friday night then go back to Frankfort on Saturday just to get rained out?

No they stayed in Georgetown.
