Jake Guentzel completed a hat trick with 6:50 left in overtime to give Pittsburgh a 3-0 lead in the series. Columbus must win Tuesday to avoid the sweep.

Pittsburgh absolutely dominated that OT period, right up through the goal. Columbus ran out to an early lead yet barely even scraped into overtime, getting the tying goal with five minutes left, having previously surrendered their lead.

I'm sick to my stomach over this series. Columbus has played well enough in spurts and could be leading 2-1 if they didn't disappear for moments at a time. Werenski's face is going to hurt for days. That kid is a warrior.
