Louisville vs. Michigan Updates

What?! No update thread going?

I thought UL played very well in that first half. They need to keep pounding the ball inside and keep playing that great defense. They need to mix in some of the matchup zone in the second half. Michigan started figuring some things out on the switches versus Louisville's man defense.

Louisville up by 8 at halftime. UL led throughout the half. Michigan fought and chipped away to tie the game with a couple minutes to go in the half. Then UL closed the half on an 8 point run featuring two 3's by Mitchell.

8 - 0 run at end of first half to give Cards 'the mo' going into second half.

Couple of dunks part of this run. Adel's dunk brings back images of the Doctors of 1980 fame.

That Adele dunk was spectacular. Mitchell threw him the ball 10 feet out in a fast break and I thought what is he going to do with it there with the big and athletic Fisher in front of him. Adele just rose up in Jordan fashion, glided through the air and jackhammered the dunk right over top of Fisher. If you didn't see it, go to youtube to try and find it. Spectacular.

Agree. A couple bad calls both ways imo.

Ref's are struggling in this one. Bad calls going both ways.Ref's haven't figured out whether to call it tight or let them play and keep waffling on which way to call it. They need to figure it out at halftime and get consistent.

Nope. Brings in Mathiang and stays man. I think Pitino is afraid Michigan will get its shooting game going if he plays zone and he likes his matchups.
