nWo
This is sad to me because my mother went to high school with him. Mr. Berry used to come to my dad's gas station and my father worked on his car.
Jumper_Dad
I was just coming to post this. I loved Chuck Berry's music from t he first time I heard it. Another underappreciated performer that shaped music as we know it, he influenced so many acts that came behind him. That's cool @nWo that you have a personal connection to him. "If you tried to give rock and roll another name, you might call it Chuck Berry," said John Lennon (at least according to urban legend).

nWo
Mom use to tell the story that they all thought something was wrong with Mr. Berry because all he would do in class is right songs. Wouldn't do his school.

mcpapa
Is it sacrilegious to think of this right now? Maybe, but I can't help it. "Chuck, it's Marvin. Your cousin, Marvin Berry.
