Blake1978j
Baby J the difference down the stretch for the Rebels in this one. With Reese Smith fouling out, Jason really did a nice job of leading his team in the 4th. Well played game for both teams. Congrats to BC on a well earned victory! Wireman
Wow. Watched these two earlier this season and Boyle didn't belong on the court. Coach Adams is getting it done
85_Rebel
And the Rebels shake the 12th Region tree a little bit. Great win for Boyle. It seemed to me Mercer is a half step slow guarding 1 on 1 and the Rebels were successful attacking the basket. Mercer also lives and dies by full court pressure and traps. If you break either you have numbers to attack. When Boyle played Mercer over the holidays they had 28 turnovers and were run out of the gym. Last night Boyle had 11. Boyle's guards have improved tremendously over the last month. Boyle hosts Lincoln Friday night at Boyle....nuff said about that! I hope the momentum from this win will finally get the Rebels over the Lincoln hurdle. ....and the Rebels go rolling along!!:dancingpa
titan101
Mercer Scoring Faulkner 40 Gillis 20 Lahnam 6 Baughman 5 Blevins 5 Major red flag that Mercer played 10 players and only 5 players scored. Mercer got 5 points from their bench and Boyle got 24 points from theirs. Lots of upperclassmen on the court for Mercer getting out played by Boyle's two freshmen. Congrats to Boyle for putting together a good game plan and executing it.

I was wrong Mercer played 11 players. Mercer had 6 players, 5 Juniors/Seniors and 1 sophomore that had zero points.
