Jumper_Dad
It takes friends and neighbors that are seeing the animals on a daily basis to report it to the authorities, other wise bad things just continue to take place.
TAC
Dog owners not being responsible. My biggest beef. Not sure I like the idea of calling 911 for a pet abuse situation. Definitely call the local police. My bro in law was shocked when I called 911 for a blown trailer tire on a 27 foot trailer with barely a shoulder. We (he) fixed the tire before they showed up. doomer
There was just a case yesterday in Frankfort. A couple or more youths took a lady's 16 year old small dog off of a chain, took it into the street and kicked it unconcious. It is captured and posted on video on facebook. I don't believe anyone has been prosecuted, and there are statements that the youths are not adults so can't be held responsible. This was on the news late last night. Hopefully there will be some prosecution of this. Something is seriously wrong with a person who will intentionally or wantonly hurt people, pets or property.
