Freedom of Speech. As long as we agree with what you are saying.

1st Amendment will be the excuse to leave it up, but it is disgusting that it was ever hung to begin with.

So we are ok with taking down war memorials and statues honoring the history of the Confederacy because they are offensive to some but it's ok to hang this picture on government property even though it's offensive to some.

I'm sure there would be no outrage if some white student painted a bunch of blacks robbing and looting stores and it was hung up at Capitol.

Allowing this only allows more hate and the teacher should have discouraged the kid from painting this.

This is politically correct to leave up, if there was a similar photo disparaging pretty much any other group it would have never went up and if it did it would have got pulled down quickly.

The painting is art and illustrates a viewpoint that a portion of disillusioned America holds. Maybe Congressmen need to see it.
