Franklin-Simpson found the sledding much less difficult last week than the week before, rolling to a 48-0 victory over Warren Central, just the second time they've shut out the Dragons, and the first since 1980. It was also the most points the Wildcats ever put up on Warren Central, so naturally, it was also their largest margin of victory as well. This week, they take defend their 7-0 record at home against Allen County-Scottsville, which survived Warren East last week in a 28-21 decision, but perhaps at the cost of their starting QB Chase Wilson, who left with a knee injury. A season ago AC/S pulled a stunning upset over the Wildcats in a 21-20 decision in Scottsville. The Wildcats will be looking for revenge as well as continuing to shore up their postseason status.

These two teams are competing for the 22nd straight year, and the last 14 meetings are an exact 7-7 split. But only two of those AC/S wins came on the road, and they haven't won there since 2009. Can the Patriots pull off the stunner or will Franklin-Simpson continue their redemption from last season?

Allen County never walks on the field with Franklin-Simpson thinking they can't win the game. The last 14 games have resulted in an even 7-7 split. ACS won four of five from 2008 to 2012.

In their last four the Pats only loss was by two to a tough one loss Glasgow team.

If FS does not come into this game with a sharp mental focus they could find themselves wondering how their dream season vanished.

It all depends on how FS handles the fall break routine. If they prepare for this game the same way they have all year, they will be fine. If not...it could be a big upset. I think the memory of what happened last year will prevent it from happening again. FS 42-7.
