4A #1 Johnson Central vs. Greenup County

Another day, another blowout, as Johnson Central moved to 6-0 with a 57-7 smashing of East Carter. Next up, Greenup County, as the Golden Eagles return home for the first time since September 9th. Greenup County has put together a nice season themselves, entering at 5-2 and on a three game win streak. They likewise blew out East Carter, winning 44-3 two weeks ago. Last season Johnson Central won 35-6. What are we looking at in 2016?

Greenup's got a good squad and they'll hang tough for a while. JC's just got too much, though. I can't see Greenup mounting enough offense to keep its defense off the field for long stretches. As good as the Musketeer's defense is, they'll wear down in the 2nd half.

I'd love to see GC win this one but Johnson Central is the best team in 4A and won't be denied this Friday.
