I didn't know what forum to put this one in. However, I do want to say thank you to all the hard working Officials across Kentucky. Officiating is a difficult job that doesn't pay nearly what it should.

Thanks everyone!

I agree. Very strenuous job that welcomes little pay and hardly any respect.

Excellent point Tony. And that is a real shame.

Everyone, if you ever get a chance take one minute and thank an Official for his/her service. I just did. :)

Does this list justify all of the claims by NKY teams this past year of "I'm not one to complain about officiating, but I've never seen a game with such bad calls"?

The northernmost official to make the list in any category was from Dry Ridge.

Couldn't be any further from the truth football wise. I believe Steve Fromeyer won football official of the year either last year or the year before.

I know all of the sports are always looking for officials so you should give it a try..

That was a pretty heavily tongue in cheek comment. I was just pointing out that there was only 1 total official from Northern Kentucky at all.

Dead on, on Fro, I think we missed it.

And on CWB, he donates a lot of time to a lot of people. All I am saying is CWB wasn't hating.

I wasn't taking a shot at you at all. It was more of just saying for anyone, officials are needed for all sports.

That is the problem with today's world. That statement was taken completely in the wrong context and it happens all the time through message boards, text messaging, etc..

Totally understood. And no worries, I didn't think you were taking a shot at all :thumb:
