Boone County at Holmes CANCELLED

As of 12:30 this game is still a go.

Just saw on Twitter all Boone County Schools evening activities are cancelled. How does this work for away games?

Tonight February 9, 2016 - The Holmes HS Boys Varsity basketball game against Boone County has been cancelled.

Yes, I posted it is off, I do pa for Holmes, got a call at 12:30 it was on. Then got a call at 1:30 it was now off, sorry for any confusion.

Those roads in Edgewood are impassable. No way anyone could expect their boys to make it to Dixie Heights High School for tonight's game.

Easy big boy, just teasing us all. I got up this morning in Alexandria and I know we didn't get as much snow as over that way. I shoveled a path up my driveway. As I came back down I slide all the way frantically tying to shovel some more as I slid. pure ice underneath an inch of snow. Melted as soon as I hit it with salt. I figured many roads will not be passable in rural areas all day.
