Good stuff! I still think Danville is worthy of being ranked above Boyle County for now but these look pretty good to me.
I can see your argument. Danville's win over LCA was a good win for the Ads. Boyle had a win over Johnson Central. Johnson I believe have their football players back which makes them better than the record indicates. They are preseason #2 in the 15th Region. Also, Boyle's only loss is to the current #1 team in the 5th Region. Danville's loss was to West Jessamine. Either way, both teams are playing pretty good basketball to start the season. Should be a good match-up in January.

I think Somerset is too low. They are young, but I've seen them twice this week and have been impressed.
The Jumpers are young so you never know what you will get game to game. But, the future is bright at Somerset. I can't rank them any higher this week since they were beaten by both Lincoln Co. and Rock. The game tonight against Garrard Co. should be a good one if the young Jumper come to play. Garrard has a nice team this year!

I was thinking they should be ahead of Rockcastle but didn't realize they had lost Rock.

Playing Boyle is different than playing any other team in the 12th region. When Elkins is in the middle you almost get nothing in the lane. North Hardin was good and big, but they won with their outside shooting. Elkins allowed nothing in the paint and they had 2 guys who were 6'4,6'5, and could jump. Elkins is just a beast in the lane. Against a big Knox Central team he had 7 blocks in the 1st quarter. If you beat Boyle you will have to do it from the perimeter.
