Covington Catholic 3 Highlands 0 (Frosh)

CovCath beat Highlands 3-0. I missed the game due to work but this is what was reported to me. It was all CovCath! Baby Birds hit just not with much authority. It happens! Defensively the Baby Birds played very good but if you keep the blue colonels to 3 runs you should beat them,IMO.

Crosley New started on the bump and finished with Griffen Leighty. Decent outing from both players especially if you hold CovCath to 3 runs.

Baby Birds are 6-2 for the season. Frosh play Ryle on Thursday at HP and NewCath on Friday at HP then 3 team round robin on Saturday starting at 10am vs Trinity/Conner. Should be good 3 days of baseball for the Baby Birds.
