Colonels_Wear_Blue
http://winemedinemecincinnati.com/2011/08/man-vs-food-enters-cincinnati/ I once competed in a chili eating contest at Skyline. Finished with the 6th fastest time after eating the requisite 2 large 3-ways, 2 bowls of oyster crackers and a large drink in 4 minutes and 43 seconds. They were apparently doing the Reuben 110 Challenge: a 5 pound reuben in 30 minutes. Check out the size of that thing...

...and we wonder why they hate us in 3rd world countries...seriously. Adam Richman: "Let me see if I can eat this 5 pound sandwich in less than a half an hour!!" Abdi the starving Somali child: "I just walked for 2 1/2 hours for a glass of water and a handful of rice."

Colonels_Wear_Blue
How many layers of shirts do you wear in August in Cincinnati? You know, they say people with high blood pressure can sometimes get cold after they eat...the body focuses its energy on the digestion of the food it has just taken in. But why would Adam Richman ever have high blood pressure??

Colonels_Wear_Blue
I thought he would have went to Latonia and tried out the Bardzilla at Bard's Burgers! As I understand it, you have to send in some sort of application to the show in order to be considered. Bard's may or may not have done that. Also, after four seasons of competitive eating features, I would have to guess that they're looking for a certain degree of uniqueness to the challenges on the show. Not that Bard's Burgers aren't great, but 10 patties with cheese on a bun isn't quite the unique or creative fare that they're looking for.
