Pulaski County/ Letcher Central Predictions

These 2 teams are about as even as it gets. Who wins and why?

If it is a high scoring game, PC wins the region. If it is a low scoring game, I think LCC takes it. This will be a game of conflicting styles. Howard likes long sustained drives to keep the other team's offense off the field and take them out of their game plan. Hines wants to score on every play and every possession and they have the weapons to do it. Starting the season, most thought PC would be here, and though they have had a tough road to get here, they have made it. Eastham has progressed nicely and gives PC another dual threat QB (they just seem to grow these guys in Pulaski County, ... Draughn, Muse, Eastham, ...). I thought LCC would be down this season losing Banks, but they have progressed nicely as the season has worn on. Johnson has really developed as a dual threat QB and I believe is just a sophomore.

This should be a great game. I will pick LCC but would not be surprised at all if PC manages to pull out the win and take home their first regional title.

Looking at the stats it looks like LCC stuggles with kicking extra-points. I'll say that will be the difference. Maroons 34, Cougars 31.

Smith of LCC has been kicking XP well lately. Will not be a factor. LCC must have a better running game to win. Pulaski must contain Johnson on the edge. High scoring affair! PC 35 LCC 34

Must be a computer shut down in Pulaski and Letcher.
