Inside the 13th Region (1/12/15)

By Les - Itís been another week of impressive basketball action in the 13th Region, but with that said, not a lot of movement in my poll. Both South Laurel and Whitley County continue to surprise while North Laurel continues to leave me scratching my head wondering whatís wrong with the Jaguars. With that said, letís take a look at the rankings. 1.Clay County (14-3 overall, 6-0 against 13th Region competition)The Tigers posted a 2-1 showing in the WYMT Classic and held their... By JokersWild24 - Alright folks, last week was a huge update (which you can read by clicking HERE) and this week was full of wild games, but I’m short on time so we’ll hit the basics. As I said in my preseason preview, which you can read HERE, I borrowed from William Shakesphere in saying that the motif for this season’s 11th could be, “uneasy lies the head that wears a crown”. That couldn’t be more true when taking a look at this week’s results. Consider that my #1 team last week, Lexington Catholic, was beaten by Lafayette. Lafayette also beat Bryan Station later in the week. Promptly after,... Read More →
