By 8th Region Warrior - This past week stirred up some rankings in the 8th region as we witnessed exciting basketball across the region. This week starts the All A tournament and I believe it has the ability to have some close contests, with several teams having a shot at winning. The All A is being held at Walton Verona and will begin Tuesday. After reading all of the boards this week, I found myself laughing at posters, concerning who is ranked where, who is beating who, remember this we are half way through the season and a lot can change. Players will mature, especially young ones, unfortunate injury's can... Read More →

Inside the 1st Region - Week 5

By silo11 - The first region has been crazy this year. We have our third team to take over the #1 ranking this week. Region 1 is showing that they can play well with other regions in the state and this bodes well for them come tournament time. Whoever comes out of Region 1 and plays in the Sweet 16, will have earned it. The region has played out so far with three different tiers of competition. The top tier features 3 teams who are ready to compete for the title, the next tier have 3 or 4 teams capable of competing, but are struggling to get there, and then the last tier are the teams to most likely... Inside the 3rd Region(1/9)

By ApolloFan98 - As for now, there seems to be a slight gap between #1 Apollo and everyone else. Hancock keeps winning games against lesser competition, and their record is impressive no matter who they have played. There doesn't seem to be much of a gap between #2 and #7-8 . Everyone is beating each other, making it difficult to stack them... 1.Apollo Eagles(13-1) – SAME – Apollo ran its winning streak to 13 straight this week, with 2 2nd half comeback wins. 10th Region Recap and Rankings - 1/2/17

By mcpapa - Lots of holiday action for most of the teams in the 10th. The region's top-ranked squad did not disappoint and managed to distance itself even further from the rest of the pack. This week will see most area small schools participating in the 10th Region All-A tournament. I still believe that any of 6 or 7 teams can catch fire and make a late-season run to Rupp, but right now it appears to be Campbell County's to lose. Without further ado... 1. Campbell County (12-1, 3-1 region). The Camels ran their winning streak to ten as the captured the Lloyd tournament trophy. First was a 78-46... Read More →
