By ball_coach_4 - Rankings as of 1/10/16 for the 7th Region (Last ranking in parentheses ()).We have the first movement at the top of the 7th region since the first rankings on Dec. 22, but I don’t think the last in my opinion. There will be movement all over the place in the 7th, and I think that anyone in the top 6 can/will win the region. Note, my apologies in omitting Collegiate in the previous rankings. This was an unintentional oversight on my part. They have been added to this week’s rankings: 1. Male (12-2) (2) This team has been very consistent all year, and was operating under the radar... Region 1 Rankings (1/4/16 Week 5)

By silo11 - Remember these rankings will be based on current play and not just the record or one good/bad game. St. Mary's made a move up over the holidays Here are the rankings as of 1/4/16. 1. Paducah Tilghman (9-2) The Blue Tornadoes suffered their first losses of the season to St. X and Doss at the Meijer Holiday Classic. Both are good teams and give a good idea of where Paducah Tilghman stands in the state. They had cracked the top 20 in the BGP rankings, but after the two losses will most likely drop out and will need to earn their way back in. They have the talent to do so. Huge game at... 8th Region Christmas Break Re-cap

By 8th Region Warrior - Instead of doing last week over the Christmas Break, I took in as much basketball as one person can take, BUT it is one of my favorite times of the year especially in Kentucky where we have some quality Christmas Tourney's. After these first 3 teams, you can almost guarantee that you would have a hard time picking the 3-8 teams. Anyone can get hot and be dangerous come tourney time. 1A. Owen County- Not a lot has changed in my opinion with this team. I would say Carson is the front runner for Mr. Basketball and deservedly so. Guards have improved and Dunaway looks more comfortable. ... Read More →
