The Southeastern Six Second Round Playoff Preview

By Les - Class A Pineville (7-4) at Williamsburg (8-2), 7:30 p.m. This will mark the third time these two teams have met this year. Williamsburg won an SEKC scrimmage game with ease, and then picked up an easy 47-0 win at Pineville just two weeks ago. The Yellow Jackets led 47-0 at the half before putting in their reserve during the game's final 24 minutes. Will this be a closer game? Can the Mountain Lions pull off the upset on the road? Those are two questions, that will be answered Friday, but I just don't see Pineville having an answer for the offensive trio of Williamsburg quarterback Dalton... Read More →

That was the way the game was played and Beechwood could do it better than anyone. Coach Yeagle and his Tigers proved that in the 1990's by filling the trophy case with those state championship trophies. As the 2000's arrived though, football changed.
