2nd Region Ranking/Stat Leaders 12/17/16

By WKY - Rank Team (Overall Record; Region Record) 1. Henderson County (6-1; 0-0) No one has played a tougher schedule than the Lady Colonels. They have claimed victories over state powers Bullitt East and Campbell County, and their lone loss came at the hands of Mater Dei (Evansville, IN). Alisha Owens is playing at a high level and they have found some shooters to surround her with. It didn't take long for Henderson County to remind everyone how dominant they can be. 2. Hopkinsville (6-2; 5-0) Their size will give you nightmares and makes for a tough night on offense. They are undefeated in... Read More →

Inside the 7th Region (12/12/16)

By PurplePride92 - The beginning of the season hasn't brought much change to the 7th Region rankings but things are definitely different at this time. Trinity is still without the services of possible Player of the Year in Jacob King but have still mostly been playing up to expectations. Waggener just found out that they will likely be without the services of Devin Cooper so they now know what lies ahead for them this season. St. Xavier and Central haven't gotten off to the starts they want but we haven't even gotten to Christmas yet so this is not the time to panic. Ballard has gotten off to a strong start... 8th region Re-cap Week #2

By 8th Region Warrior - What a head scratching week for basketball in general. Early season games will definitely make you start wondering, do I really know this team? Imagine coaches, they probably played 2-3 times this week, with some being in Classic's Saturday, quick turn around, would love some of my football coaching buddy's worry about 3 games instead of just 1. Here are some thoughts and insights 1. South Oldham- Previous rank #1- Hard to move someone that does not lose. I know some other teams have impressive wins, but the Dragons will be tested this week.
