A rematch from last year’s regional championship game where Williamsburg defeated Hazard 21-7. The Yellowjackets would take command from the start of the game taking a 14-0 lead after the first quarter and a 27-7 lead at halftime and they wouldn’t look back as they would roll to a 48-14 thrashing of the Bulldogs. This brought two program who had met sporadically under the four class system together - the Fort Thomas Highlands Bluebirds and the Lexington Catholic Knights. Trinity Notebook: Rocks face Meade County Friday night.

By thsrocks - Trinity (8-5) defeated St. Xavier (8-5) 9-3 last Friday. The Rocks now take a trip to Hamilton Stadium in Brandenburg to meet Meade County High School. The winner gets a trip to WKU to play the Ballard (10-3)/Dixie Heights (12-1) victor. Senior John Wilson (5’11” 165) at quarterback leads the Greenwave (one word per school website). In their victory over Central Hardin (12-1) Wilson completed 7 of 9 pass attempts for 79 yards with one interception. Wilson rushed for 137 yards on 28 carries.
