The Bulldogs are ranked higher by BluegrassPreps.com (Male is #1 and Trinity is #4), have a better rating in MaxPreps, Litkenhous, & Cantrall and more votes in the AP this week. Bourbon County had demolished Estill over the past few season’s, Bourbon was hoping that the result would still be the same as Estill County was hoping for an upset. The Rocks fell to St. Xavier (5-2) 35-21 this past Friday. The Crimsons defeated the Butler Bears (3-2) 35-0 in Shively, KY last Thursday evening. Freshman Nasean Roseberry, a future star for the Titans, ran for 123 yards on 8 carries and scored his second touchdown of the year. By Commander 25 - Bell County opens up district play with a win against Wayne County. The Bobcats beat the visiting Cardinals 19-0. It was a hard fought game. The Bobcats finished with 259 total yards to Wayne Countys 182. Bell had 204 yards on the ground on 37 attempts. Wayne was held to 57 on 25. The Tigers got the scoring going when Central fumbled on the first play of the game and the Tigers recovered, which set up the Tigers at Central's 20 yard line. Senior running back Taijon Smith first carry of the game was a 20 yard TD run. That was all the Tigers needed as they rolled to a 40-0 halftime lead. The Tigers defeated Central 46-6 this past week. Trinity defeated the Cathedral (IN) Irish 31-19 in Indianapolis for their fourth consecutive win last Friday.
