XFL will have to compete with the Alliance Of American Football

AOAF is set to launch in Feb 2019, the week after Super Bowl LII, and has names like Troy Polamalu, Hines Ward, Justin Tuck, Jared Allen, and Charlie Ebersol attached to the project.

Charlie Ebersol is the son of Dick Ebersol, who was one of the original partners with Vince McMahon on the first attempt at operating the XFL.

Is it just me or is this doomed to fail before it begins? For the first time in awhile, the NFL could be slightly vulnerable to a competitor but it seems that having 2 leagues competing for a piece of the pie will delegitimize each other.
