Don't count Mexico in just yet. They are very close to heading to extra time against Honduras and it's been a slobberknocker!

Mexico just went up in extra time.

Actually got two goals as of now, even though it seemed to be a handball to me on the second one. Scratch that, was most definitely one.

Honduras lost all the wind out of their sails in extra time. USA vs. Mexico on Saturday.

Bradley looked very tired last night, I think that having Edu come in may have made sense. I love the fact that they are playing 1 striker. They do, however, need someone else to score out of the midfield. It seems like they are going to use Agudelo as a point man, so they'll need someone besides Dempsey to be able to be make runs towards goal. Jones tries, but he isn't a scorer. Bradley did it during the World Cup qualifying, but looked slow last night. He needed a break.

I am anxious to see if Adu can get some minutes in such an important game, and if he does I'm anxious to see what he does with those minutes. Had some good touches against Panama.

Is it too early to say that Freddy Adu has finally arrived? Had some great touches the last couple matches. Stepping up big already in the start with good handling and a decent corner. Bradley deserves a lot of credit on that goal, most of it actually, but Adu had the ball in the box and gave somebody a chance to make a play on it and that's all you can ask for. Over the last five years or so there has not been too many people in the corner other than Donovan so its good to see Adu cross a nice ball from the corner.

    AGAIN! BEAUTIFUL!

That was an outstanding pass by Dempsey and a great finish by Donovan.

And there was a breakdown. Man, I can't ever remember this many chances this quickly.
