Well it looks like they're going to send him back to Kansas City.

Can't say as that I understand all the changes, but I'm sure that since this is an off year for the Gold Cup, Arena was under some pressure from MLS sides to get a few of these guys back to their teams.

I hate that they're sending Dwyer home. He deserves a chance to win the Cup.

Well...it was a win tonight. Not much else that can be said about it. Defense was terrible. El Savador is low down dirty and they some snitches. Survive (literally) and advance. Costa Rica up next.

Agree with what you said, hard to understand the why the Referee didn't pull a red card out of his pocket at least once or twice in this match. The US didn't play very well, but then again, if you're worried about getting mugged all night long......

I'd rather substitute ammonia for Visine than have to watch Jozy Altidore play another game at striker. He can NOT be the best this country has as the target up top. It is infuriating.

The back-line, that was VERY shaky the first 20 minutes, settle in nicely. The ball played back to Howard too softly was nearly a disastrous beginning.

I know Michael Bradley takes a lot of heat, but I thought he was really solid last night. Thought Nagbe was good as well, at least in spurts.

I'll take Dom Dwyer every day and twice on Sunday over Altidore at this point.

    Jamaica 1, Mexico 0

USA-Mexico would have been fun as always, but that's just great.

USA played its best game of the tournament in the semifinals against CRC and will be heavy favorites in Wednesday night's final.

Clint Dempsey is still the straw that stirs the drink for the USMNT.

Love him coming off the bench late when we need a goal. Will be a real weapon next summer.

I thought Jordan Morris had his best game in a while. Was unlucky not to score, putting that one off the post just moments into the game.

I thought that both Morris and Nagbe showed they deserve minutes when the full roster is available.

I feel like they are at their best with Wood and Altidore up top with a diamond of Pulisic, Nagbe, and Johnson with Bradley. Give me Villafana on the left, Cameron with Brooks in the middle, and Yedlin on the right. That is a good team. Add Deuce as a spot starter/super sub. IMO the key is filling depth in spots 12-18
