USA U-17s beat Cuba 6-2 and so have qualified for September's U-17 World Cup. Now will play the winner of tonight's late game between Mexico and Costa Rica for the CONCACAF Championship on Sunday.

As soon as I find a clip of Andrew Carleton's goal just before half, I'll post it. It's a good one.

Disappointing end to the tournament. U-17s lost to Mexico in the final. Went up 1-0 just after halftime and had at least two good chances to put the game away in the final 10 minutes but couldn't bury them.

Gave up the equalizer in the 93rd minute and eventually lost on penalty kicks. Frustrating to have it go that far and lose on the PK crapshoot.

Still easily qualified for the U-17 World Cup so we'll see what they can do.
