Mar 15, 17, 04:12 PM #2105Roster is out for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers vs Honduras and at Panama at the end of the month.
Here’s the full USMNT roster:
GOALKEEPERS (3): Brad Guzan, Tim Howard, Nick Rimando
DEFENDERS (8): John Brooks, DaMarcus Beasley, Geoff Cameron, Omar Gonzalez, Michael Orozco, Tim Ream, Jorge Villafaña, Walker Zimmerman
MIDFIELDERS (9): Kellyn Acosta, Alejandro Bedoya, Michael Bradley, Fabian Johnson, Jermaine Jones, Sebastian Lletget, Darlington Nagbe, Dax McCarty, Christian Pulisic
FORWARDS (4): Jozy Altidore, Clint Dempsey, Jordan Morris, Bobby Wood
With Jermaine Jones suspended for the first game, I'd bet Lletget starts in that holding midfield spot. He did really well in the January camp.
No Kellyn Acosta but yes on DaMarcus Beasley. Left back is still a big problem for this squad.
Mar 15, 17, 04:15 PM #2106Good to see Clint Dempsey back.

Mar 25, 17, 01:40 AM #2111That was the most dominant game I've ever seen the US play against a decent opponent. Absolutely unreal.

But I give credit to Arena for bringing in some guys that never got on Klinsmann's radar nearly enough, like the first goal scorer, Sebastian Lletget.

Mar 26, 17, 12:29 AM #2114I attribute it to a few things. It was just one of those games, BUT this looked more like American soccer to me. The players were playing hard and having fun. They look much more relaxed than they did under Klinsmann. Also, players were in the right positions, Clint Dempsey was back and Pulisic has the makings of the next great American soccer player.
