Default MLB, NBA, NFL Labor Issues

I simply don't get it. I know quite a few people that swore they'd never watch baseball again after the strike in '94. A few of them are just coming back since the Reds had a good year two years ago.

Those same people watched every minute of the Bengals 1st preseason game and can't wait for the NBA's labor dispute to get settled so they start playing.

    What's the difference?

I believe the canceling of the postseason made '94 worse. The NFL didn't miss any regular season games and will have a full postseason. As of right now the NBA can still have an abbreviated season and postseason---if that goes I think you will see many people regard it in the same light as '94.

The argument was greed and while a lockout is different than a strike, it's the same.
