    3B Casey Paul Turgeon has been sizzling since joining the Cardinals .625 average 23 at bats.

    SS Willy Rafael Adam looks to continue his outstanding season at the dish. He carries a .315 average,2HR 22 RBI.

    Both teams total one hit in the first but neither was able to score.

    Neither team scored or got a hit in the 2nd.

    Toledo ties it up in the top of the third, when Xavier Avery plates a run with a base hit.

    In the bottom of the third Francisco Lindor blast his 2nd bomb of the season to give the Clippers, a 2-1 lead.

    Jefry Marte singles on a line drive to right fielder Carlos Moncrief. Daniel Fields scores to lock it up at two in the bottom of the sixth.Corey Jones singles to drive in two more Toledo runs and they now lead,4-2 after 6 1/2

    After six the Clippers still trail,1-0.


    The Clippers are as bad as any team I have listened to this season on the offensive side of things. They are not real good in the field either.

    Top of the seventh and the Mud Hens are busy again with the sticks.

    Xavier Avery out on a sacrifice fly to center fielder Michael Martinez. Jeff McVaney scores and it is,3-0.

    Reno has 2 guys hitting over .400 in their line up tonight.( Daniel Casey Dorn .438 and odd Mcintosh Glaesmann .455)

    Pitching for Reno will be newly signed Parker Frazier. He was just picked up by Arizona form an independent league. The League is the Atlantic League and the team he was on Bridgeport. He posted a 3-0 record with a 1.80 ERA.

    Akron RubberDucks 23-26 (Cleveland) at Harrisburg Senators 21-28(Washington)

    7 Inning game because this is game one of a double header.

    It too nine innings for the first run to be scored. Akron got the run when,Bryson Miles drove in Erik Gonzalez, with a triple.

    Mario Lisson with a two run walk off home run to give Harrisburg the win.

    Ryan Merritt went 7 2/3 innings giving up only two hits.
    Luis Head came in and finished the eighth.
    Head is back on for Akron in the ninth.

    It was good to hear Merritt pitching like he did last season, when he was named the Indians minor league pitcher of the year.

    Matthew Hagerty McBride (. 351 6 HR 24 RBI) has been one of the few bright spots for the Isotopes this season.

    John Francis Andreoli (.295 1 HR 7 RBI) is closing in ob the .300 average he is capable of hitting for the season, when going the way he has shown at times)

    Both team has blown lead in this one and gone on to drop the game.

    Tonight the Clippers have recently demoted Lonnie David Chisenhall at third. He will bat fifth. Jose Ramirez, who was demoted with Chisenhall is also in the lineup and this will be his 2nd game with the Clippers.

    Irving Falu is back in the line up for the bats. He will be at 2B tonight. He is hitting .302. He is a very versatile player for the Bats and seems to be good in the field no matter where he plays.

    Layne Somsen makes his 2nd start for the Bats since being called up from Pensacola Blue Wahoo.

    Jordan Cooper 2-2 4.32 goes for Columbus.
