Pawtucket Red Sox 18-12(Boston) at Columbus Clippers 16-13 (Cleveland)
Clippers looking to make it three in a row over the Sox.

One of my favorite players is the starting catcher today for the Red Sox, Humberto Jose Quintero. Started liking him way back in 2001 when he was in the White Sox organization.

Francisco Lindor walks. Carlos Moncrief scores and the Clippers score a run without having a hit in the game. Still in the fifth inning and still without a hit the Clippers add a run on a Jesus Aguilar sac fly. Jerry Sands gets the Clippers first hit and drives in a run to make it,3-0 after five.

Clippers add a run in the seventh on a Jerry Sands single and now lead,4-0.

Deven Marrero homers (3)in the eighth off off reliever C.C.Lee.
Toru Murata went seven scoreless for the Clippers as he continues to stay in his outstanding groove.

    Columbus Clippers(Indians) 20-15 at Pawtucket Red Sox(Boston) 21-17

Clippers win in extra innings yesterday, while the Sox took game one on Thursday.

The Clippers throw red hot pitcher, Toru Murata 2-0 2.89 ERA.
The Sox throws Jess Todd 1-0 2.08. He is making his third start, with this being his sixth overall appearance this season. He is also a former member of the Indians organization.

A two-run triple by Francisco Lindor makes this a,2-0 game in the third, Then the next batter Tyler Holt plates in a run with a single to make this a, 3-0, still in the third.

In the 4th and 5th , the Sox had the first two on, but failed to score.
Heading to the bottom of the sixth, the Clippers still have the,3-0 lead.

Jemile Weeks hitting .204 with zero homers opens the sixth up, with his first bomb of the season to make this a,3-1 game.

In the ninth, Travis Shaw(Washington Courthouse, Ohio)locks this one up at three, with his third bomb of the season. For some odd reason, the Clippers did not have a closer in, instead they had Kyle Crockett, who has a 9,00 ERA. He was in for a 2nd inning and though he has been pitching better of late, I was not happy to see him back out for the ninth. Then again the Clippers are down a pitcher because of moves made by the Tribe earlier.

Going to extra innings again tonight.

    Game headed to the 11th.

In the 12th now, Both teams have threatened to end it, but neither can come up with the big hit.

Back to back games of at least 13 innings between these two.
The pitching staffs are going to need the starters to go deep into the game on Sunday.

    Game moves to inning 14.
These two play tomorrow at 1:05.

Miguel Antonio Celestino throws his 4th wild pitch this season and this one allows Audy Alexander Ciriaco to score the go ahead run in the top of the 14th.
    4-3 Clippers lead.

Clippers hang on for the, 4-3 win.
