NBC Sports is doing a nice run-up to the race. I'm watching their "Kentucky Derby Classics" show now. Is anyone else tuning in to this?

If Justify goes off at 3-1 I'll probably play a little bit on him. He has a great post, has worked nice and should get a good trip with his running style. Most of my betting will be exotics.

Hard to believe a guy of his caliber does not have a mount isn't it? I am kind of leaning to Audible, Bolt d'Oro and maybe Vino Rosso to get a small piece. Justify does not have enough races under his belt to compete in a 20 horse field of this caliber IMO. Of course I have not picked a Derby winner since Sunny's Halo.

My house is located in the runway path for Bowman Field...I've been home for about an hour, and they've had private jets flying in on 2 minute intervals since I pulled in the driveway.

Anybody seen a list of the will-pays for the Oaks-Derby Double? I'm alive with 5 options.

Would've been better for me with the 10 over the 5 in the Oaks rather than the 14 over the 5. Had 10/5 exacta key and some money on the 5 to show.

I got the horse right here, his name is Paul Revere.
And here's a guy that says if the weather's clear...

For today's race, using the same method as Benny, Rusty and Nicely-Nicely:

    W - My Boy Jack
    P - Bolt d'Oro
    S - Solomini

I got this trifecta as well. I like Vino Russo as a horse outside of the favorites too.

I bet several different boxed trifectas, but those are the 3 horses I see on my sheet the most.

Hope everyone wins some money. Unless you pick different horse than what I have going, of course.

Had a blast at the Oaks yesterday. Cashed a few tickets, but the fun one was a show pool. We did a couple $5.00 X 7 folks and they didn’t make it past one or two races. Decided to do a $20 pool. My brother opted out. Started with $120 and went 4-5 races stopping with the Oaks and ended up with around $1,300 total. Poor brother took the heat all the way home for not getting in with us.

If anyone has never signed up for Twinspires.com, they have a promotion going with Kentucky Sports Radio.

Sign up and use "KSR12" and you get $12 free dollars. You don't even have to deposit any money. I just did it for my wife too.
