Mar 4, 04, 10:42 AM #3I am 36, married and have 4 wonderful kids who play sports all year long. I love all sports and like to talk about them. I am originally from Oxford, Alabama and went to Oxford High school graduating 1985. I have lived in Mayfield for the past 14 years. I have been a member for less than a year and can say that it was the best $10.00 I have ever spent. Welcome to all the new members here on BGP.

I think I am still considered a newbie on the site. I'm 18 and I attend Walton-Verona in my senior year. Big fan of small schools since I attend one. Love to follow high school sports and attend high school events throughout Northern Kentucky. I represent the 8th region(since not a lot of people know anything about it). I also follow the 9th and 10th regions.

Here goes the first from the Shamrock Nation. . . .I'm 26, getting married in May, played ball at Trinity and at Western, not a native Kentuckian, therefore my team preferences aren't always the most popular on BGP. I will say that my views as to Trinity and its successes are more honest and true to the fact than some of my bretherin. Welcome to all new comers!!!!
Mar 4, 04, 12:58 PM #6I'm 18 yrs old and graduated from Prestonsburg High School last year. I enjoy watching all sports, but only played basketball in high school. Basketball is definitely my favorite sport to be involved in. You will also notice on here that I am always right. Just kidding. I follow the 15th region and welcome to all new people.
Mar 4, 04, 01:52 PM #7I'm a 24 year old sports enthusiast. I have played sports all my life and I enjoy talking sports, hence the reason I have joined this site. I am a healthcare professional in Rockcastle Co., however, I live in the great metropolitan region of Stanford, KY. I tend to follow the area schools in Football and Basketball. Welcome to the site, it is a great sports site!
Mar 4, 04, 02:03 PM #8Greetings all -- let's see some new people post on this thread too.
I'm 33, and a graduate of Northern Kentucky University, but also attended Western Kentucky back in the day. Graduated from Gallatin County High School, one of the most miserable black holes ever in terms of sports and education. So since I really don't have a team to cheer for since all our teams are traditionally sorry, I am a fan of no team, yet a fan of all teams. I just like good ball, simply put.
Live and work in Somerset, but in my job and school travels I have lived all over the state.
I post most regularly in the General Discussion forum, and whatever forum's sport that is currently in season. College sports gets a lot of action from me as well.
I work at night, so many of my posts will come in the wee hours of the a.m. And Hunter S. Thompson is my hero, ergo, my avatar.
Mar 4, 04, 03:02 PM #9I'm 19 going on 20 from wonderful Paintsville Kentucky . Love to lift weights, bowl, fish, or anything else I can do with my dad. Its important to do things with him because I will be graduating in 3 years and out on my own. Its good to sit around and talk about all the old times we used to have. I got two dogs named Butch and Skooter. I plan on being some type of nurse because I used to work in a nursing home and love to work with people. Also, my mom is a nurse so I've talked it over with her and there are so many options available to them. Football was my passion in high school. Won a region title before we got spanked my junior year at NCC but that doesn't matter any more. Next semester I plan on working with some local schools around campus in reading programs. I'm single unfortunately, but the right one will come along sooner or later. Nice to be apart of the BGP group with all of ya.
Mar 4, 04, 03:05 PM #10Soon to be 19, I live in St. Louis attending St. Louis University. I am an alum of Lexington Catholic High School and played football all four years of high school. I've been on the site since 2001 so I guess I could be almost considered old. Oh yeah, and I like ribs, anyone with tips on good places to eat ribs in St. Louis, just give me a holler.
Mar 4, 04, 03:14 PM #1118 years old, graduated Ludlow High School. Attending University of Kentucky.
In high school I played football my freshamn year (playoffs) and sophmore and junior years (combined record of 0-19). Sidelined the senior year to watch a 0-10 season then they win when I leave. Go figure. Hard to get into these Lexington teams when I'm used to the small school play in the 9th in football and basketball.

Take I-55 North about 290 miles, then
merge onto 90/94 and go North a couple of miles to Ohio feeder ramp, then
go East on Ohio to Wells Street, then
turn right on Wells to 612 North Wells
I had Carsons ribs for lunch today.
