    119rider

Hello everyone, just wanted to give some background on myself. Of course, with a name like this one I am an ex-wrestler from the bluegrass. I went to school down at Union County and graduated back in 1994. I found this website while trying to keep up with what was going on in Kentucky sports. I am a huge UK fan and miss getting to watch the ballgames. I now live in Missouri so all I get to see is Big 12 games, unless the Cats are playing on Espn.
I don't do much else because I'm busy grading papers and playing with my son. I do try to to play a lot of sports to stay healthy. My old wrestling injuries slow me down quite a bit now, but you can never kill the desire for competition.
THis forum has been great for me because I get all the latest information and have actually met some people that were around wrestling when I was. So hope all enjoy the forum and interesting debates.

Welcome 119rider! I'm glad you explained your name. I'm one of those wackadoo's who tries to figure out what a user's name stands for.

I had you pegged as a jockey!

If I can help you out, just let me know!

Hey guru, I found it by looking for sports in Kentucky. It was one of the items that popped up and I have been hooked ever since. Rockmom, I can see the jockey resemblance in my name, but I did use to train ride when I was younger on my grandfathers horses. It actually comes from me being a good rider on the mat. I wasn,t great on my feet but I was feared on the mat. Joe Carr didn't even want to get under me in the finals back in 94. Still didn,t help him out though.
Thanks for all the nice entries guys and gals. Look forward to talking to everyone in the future.

I'm kind of familiar with the area. I'm from St. Louis.
