Brady should man up. Everyone knows that the equipment guys prepare the footballs per the QBs instruction. If they did not, they would no longer be employed by the team.
He should have manned up, but it is Brady who has always been pretty arrogant. He reminds me of Lance Armstrong who not only believes he is above the rules but thinks he doesn't have to answer to anything.

He will always go down as a cheater and will be remembered in the same line as a Alex Rodriguez to me. Someone who didn't have to cheat but did anyway and lost all respect.

This will be repealed because the report doesn't prove it. It just says he "probably" knew of it. How can you suspend on probably. LOL! NFL powers are laughable with just about everytime they try to suspend someone over something. They don't seem to ever get it right.

The NFL sucks. The punishment should have been 0 games.

So they proved that Brady took air out of the footballs?

I'd say they proved he ordered the air be taken out of the balls. Not him doing it personally. He's a cheat.

So he didnt physically take air out of the footballs, but they punished him for it.

Think of it this way...If you order a "Hit" on a deliveryman because he failed to deliver certain needed reproduction equipment parts and someone else carries out that "Hit" you are as guilty as they are even though you didn't actually do it yourself.

Well, technically you're only guilty if there's concrete indisputable evidence that you explicitly ordered the hit.

Well in a court of law he'd have been forced to turned over everything...since he didn't (and this isn't a court of law) he can be convicted on what is available.

Except none of what's available proves that he explicitly ordered anyone to do anything against the rules (law).

And I'm not saying he didn't do it. Based on what's available, I would say it's very likely he gave the order. I'm just of the opinion that you shouldn't be allowed to suspend someone without definite proof that an infraction was committed.

Nothing to do with it being Brady. No one in the league would have "manned up" if they were in this position. Not when league has no proof.

So deflating footballs is now comparable to putting a hit on someone. Why wasn't he permanently banned then.

That's the sad part of this. The equipment guys were ordered to lower the air. If they don't do it, I am sure they won't be there long. They do it, and now they are banned from the NFL. They become the fall guys. Now that they are banned, do they roll on the Patriots and tell what they know?

It's not and you know it's not...just pointing out you don't have to do the deed to also be guilty of it.

FWIW I think he got off easy...got to play in SuperBowl and gets to play in playoffs this season. Four regular season games that will get cut down to 1 or 2 shhhh that's nothing. This will be completely forgotten by October as if it never happened.

Thank you for your honesty. If you think he did it why should he get away with it just because he was able to hide it. This will have next to zero impact on your team, except for their image, and for the most part will be forgotten by October.
