Without definitive proof that Brady was involved, I can't see him getting more than 2 games. The language of the report is more of a "preponderance of evidence" conviction than "beyond reasonable doubt".

1 game would be sufficient in my mind and maybe lose a draft pick. Brady is one of the best but he clearly is a liar and that will hurt his overall image with many. The NFL is becoming a joke of a league. Goodell better make good on this or he may go down as the worst Commissioner ever.

They should never of been allowed to play the SB in the first place. The league screwed up by not doing anything when they should have.

Same for crowd noise etc. If you get caught cheating then you forfeit that game you were caught. Instead there is no deterrent not to cheat.

The NFL will suspend him for X amount of games although I don't know how much personally. However, whatever the severity of the punishment is will not matter IMO as Brady will win the appeal based on what I know of the evidence so far.

Ray Farmer of the Browns was suspended for 4 games and the Browns were fined $250,000 for text gate. The texts were Farmer complaining about who was in the game or coaching decisions. Nothing that gave the Browns a competitive advantage, as per the NFL investigation.

Brady and the Pats were deflating balls in order to get a competitive advantage. That deserves a stiffer punishment. I say he will get a 6 game suspension starting with game 1 of 2015. This infraction is worse than Farmer and so the penalty should include more games under suspension.

The difference is that they have proof of Ray Farmer violating the rules of using texting during the games. They don't have that kind of hard proof that Brady purposely violated the rules of the game.

Because Farmer gave up the texts? Asking for a friend.

Not sure. All I know is in the text messages it was clear that he violated the rules. I'm still waiting for the smoking gun text message or voicemail or something from Brady where he is saying that he wants his balls below the legal limit.

Yes, he turned his phone over to the NFL and admitted what he did.

Brady should man up. Everyone knows that the equipment guys prepare the footballs per the QBs instruction. If they did not, they would no longer be employed by the team.

Things would have gone a lot easier for him if he had.
