There were a few good commercials but thought it was a down year. Do you think advertisements were down or NBC just really wanted to promote the Olympics. There must have been 15 commercials for the Olympics. Who is NBC’s competition for the Olympics?

No competition just wanting to draw viewers for the games.

I think that was my favorite.

The tide commercials sort of mocking every other brand grew on me.

    1. Who is Braxton?
    2. Bud has commercials every year. It’s not like they made that commercial just to “show off.”

Really? I'm having a hard time coming up with some other reason. In fact, if they truly wanted to show their humane efforts, they would've not run an ad at all and put out a presser saying they were donating the $5 million to efforts in Texas/Florida/Californai/Puerto Rico/etc.

I think their ad is completely 180 degrees different than the one for Stella Artois, and their efforts to get water to 3rd world countries.

I'm confused as to what they should have done? Like I said, they always run ads. I'm failing to see the issue here.

I'll add in that announcing what they do might promote other companies to do something similar next time. I don't think that it's bad at all.

Remember the 9/11 Budweiser commercial that we all loved? Maybe they shouldn't have made that and should have just donated it all to a survivors or children of the first responders fund. My guess is that Budweiser did that, too.

I can definitely see the purpose in running both of those ads.

Don't we all wish we were Steven Tyler, of Aerosmith (in the KIA commercial) with the ability to go back in time and Dream On?

Wow some of you, Budweiser stepping up strong to help and we have a player haters ball.

If anything, I am a little sour on Braxton for the cheap shot and shameless attempt to ride Budweiser's coat tails.

Given the fact that they have lost the millenial market and socially conscious companies tend to be more popular with that generation it was likely a targeted move to try to draw them in.
