Why is an 89-year old man still making decisions for the good of the country? Execution? Seriously? Was what Michael Vick did right? No. But should he be "put down" himself? No...he had several dogs put down and dogs aren't human.

    .....

"Byrd has gone cuckoo" and should have had one of his legal aids, help prepare his response.

If guilty, Vick's actions are disgusting and certainly cruel, but his execution....No.

He didn't have them put down, he killed them.

He clubbed them, he electorcuted one, he repeatedly threw one against the ground, he hung some...and others he let be mauled to death in fights.

Maybe executed isn't what Vick needs.

How about we bring back the gladiatorial events of the Roman Empire?

We could put Vick and friends in an arena and "unchain the hounds".

Gone Cuckoo?? Imo he has been there for quite while. This man should not be in public.......................period, let alone be U.S. Senator.

Vick should have "the book" thrown at him and be put under the dang jail but execution??? I don't think so.
I guess that ol Man Byrd thinks that the KKK is more on the up and up. LOL

Put down? I think it was a worse than that, but I would agree that execution is a bit harsh. I'm just concerned that he'll get off too easy for his disgusting, inhumane acts.

I tend to disagree. I don't think a high profile case brought about by the Feds will garner any favors for Mr. Vick.

When you remember that Byrd voted against Civil Rights in 1964, does it surprise you that he wants Vick executed?

The only real question is whether Byrd would favor lethal injection or having him strung up from a tree by a bunch of guys with sheets on their heads.

I think that sums it up best as to the mind set this "authority figure" is in.

Vick has proven has does have some positive things to contribute to society. Execution isn't in order.
