Ryan Finley
There was a short, but interesting (at least IMO) comment made by the CBS crew covering the Steelers-Bengals game yesterday. It was in the second half, when the Bengals had had several 3-and-out series, and one guy asked if the Bengals would consider making a QB change (similar to what the Steelers did earlier in the game) to try and find a spark to ignite a pretty weak offense. The reply was that the Bengals had originally gone to Finley in the first place, to evaluate what they had in the QB. The reply to that was, how many games does it take to evaluate a QB? I think that's a fair point.
So, my question is...if the season ended today, have you or have you not, seen enough of Ryan Finley to know what you'd need to do in the offseason?Advertisement

Desperation has set in. Stadium is near empty and Mikey feeling the pinch in his pocket.

Nov 25, 19, 03:13 PM #9I don't believe they started the season planning on doing it, but between injuries, personnel, and play calling, the snowball started rolling down the hill pretty fast. I just wish Taylor would've come out and said it when they made the QB change. None of this "we are still trying to win" crap over and over again.

Nov 25, 19, 03:28 PM #12So...it seems like we can make a decision to change QB without having to wait until a Tuesday after all.

Nov 25, 19, 03:32 PM #15I wonder who made the decision to go back to Dalton and if it could have anything to do with the head coach trying to hang onto his job.
