I hope I am wrong because I really like Wilson and the type of person you want leading a team. However I don't think he will do as great as he has in the preseason and will have up and downs. Which if he starts having more downs, and all the money they spent on Flynn. I could see them giving Flynn a shot, because I don't see Seattle wanting to waste a year, and could be a year you all could make another run at the playoffs. So if Wilson does start to struggle I could see them making the switch.

He is the first 3rd-round pick to start as a rookie since Joe Ferguson did in 1973.

He is stupid good in the offense Seattle runs. 42 points on the Niners tonight- 150 points in the last 3 weeks. He is incredible. He has weapons and a great defense. No one wants to see the Seahawks in the playoffs.

As right as I was about the Bengals again, that is how wrong I was on Russell Wilson. I should just stick to Bengal stuff haha

He is great and so fun to watch, you have a great QB in him!

He was my sleeper pick before the draft. Composed beyond his years mentally!

Luck or RGIII will win ROY, but Wilson is better than both. Wilson has beaten both Rodgers and Brady this year. You will not see that on the resumes of Luck or Griffin any time soon.

It's questionable whether it was he or the stripes who really beat Rodgers.

It's not questionable at all. That was an awful call and Seattle shouldn't have won that game.

I'm not sure you'd be singing that tune if RGIII had the defense that Wilson has. Or if Luck had the defense and/or the run game that Wilson has. I like Wilson and he's definitely talented, but he isn't better than those two imo.

I am a Wilson fan and love that he is succeeding despite what the experts thought before the draft. However, the above statement is ridiculous. He did not beat Rodgers and Brady! His team beat the Packers and the Patriots. Way to much of the praise or blame goes on the QB for each team!

Saw Wilson play in person for the Badgers and got to see the game Flynn threw against the Lions. There is just something about Wilson's field presence. Flynn is capable and I hope Seattle will let him go elsewhere next season. There should be several starting jobs open. Oh, wait, that coaching jobs!

No doubt about that. I give credit where credit is due and Hangman was right on when it came to Wilson, and I was wrong. I didn't think Wilson would be so good so quick. Very impressive.

I was afraid when we transferred to Wisky. As I alluded to in the thread he has all the intangibles.
