    So I guess once Jerry Jones got booted from the compensation committee it was easier to get this deal done.

    Really, fans or sponsors don't give a flip how much Goodell makes. Fans generally don't like him, but it isn't his salary why they don't.

    I can't stand Goodell, I think he's a joke, but the one area that I think he's done a great job is in his attempts to make the game safer.

    Now what he's done may not be the right things, but he at least recognizes the issue and realizes if something isn't done sooner than later the game won't exist anymore.

    It wasn't in the Steelers-Bengals game. Players were being wheeled off the field like a MASH unit.
