I hope you do, that means the board falls better farther down.

It wont happen and to be honest I think Gurley is a top 10 player in this draft, but it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Not sure a RB is worth a #3 in a pitch n catch league. But a RB with ACL history is a huge risk in the 1st round. I would be very surprised if Gurley goes at #3 .
ACL risk isn't even remotely close to what it is 10 years ago. Guys these days come back just as strong if not stronger.

It is really amazing how guys are coming back from that injury. Let's hope Gurley is one who goes on to a full recovery and a great career.

There's a rumor floating that Cleveland has offered the Titans 2 first rounders for their pick at #2 . And there's also the rumor that it was false. So, who knows.

The Bears are looking to trade their Pro Bowl TE. The Bengals should trade for him. They have a extra 3rd round pick. I think that is all it would take to get Bennett.

Yes, and the thing is, both reports were made by ESPN.com. McManamon said they had made the offer and Paul Kuharsky said they made no such offer. Browns GM Ray Farmer says the did not speak to the Titans about a trade for Mariota but that he did speak to them recently just as he has spoken to nearly every team in the league. The GMs call their friends and ask what they're are hearing about other teams draft strategies.

McManamon is known for reporting some of the most outrageous stories about Cleveland on the strength of "undisclosed sources" that turn out to be wrong. I think his undisclosed sources are often the wind.

Seriously, I wonder how honest these stories are. It is obvious that Cleveland needs a QB. There are 2 good ones in this draft. The Titans have the second pick. It doesn't take a genius to know that Cleveland would be interested in that pick, IF it didn't come with too high of a price. Are their rumors swirling about trades and such. Of course. How easy it would be to say that a source told you that Cleveland had talked to the Titans about a trade without any source stronger than a rumor. Voila, you get a story and make a splash in at least two cities... Cleveland and Nashville, and any other city that hopes their team drafts Mariota, and also any avid fan of the NFL. I think it lacks integrity and is not real journalism.

BTW, I heard the Browns are looking for a high impact player who will start from day 1 with their first pick.

Interesting story from Adam Schefter on Mike and Mike this morning. Reports are surfacing that the Eagles are trying to trade Sam Bradford for to Cleveland for the 12th overall pick and then package that pick to the Titans to get up to #2 to get Mariota. Chip Kelly loves his guy!

Yeah, that one's been floating around for awhile. Cleveland tried to get Bradford before the Eagles picked him up from St. Louis. St. Louis wouldn't deal with Cleveland because they wanted a QB in return and the Browns didn't have much to offer.

Now Bradford is with the Eagles and everyone wonders why because Chip Kelly likes mobile quarterbacks in his system and even before Bradford's ACL issue, he was a pocket passer. Go figure.

Unless Kelly is planning on using Bradford as trade bait, which he vehemently denied (of course). The was a story out of Cleveand media that the Browns inquired about trading for Bradford with the Eagles. So speculation ever since has been that the Eagles trade Bradford to the Browns for their #12 pick and use that to package a trade with Tenessee so Kelly can go up and get Mariota, whom he has coveted ever since leaving him behind at Oregon. See sportswriters could fill up pages with this stuff until next year's draft.

By the end of round 1 tonight we will finally know

Trading a 1st round pick for Sam Bradford would be the most Cleveland Browns move ever. I hope they do it.
