I think his is as much for not cooperating as it was him getting club house guys to let the air out.

Any more, I don't know which is worse between the NFL and the NCAA. Not a hell of a lot of difference any more.

You're probably right, hadn't thought of that. Could be sending a message to the league for future investigations.

Heard someone on the radio say an appeal would force Brady and the Pats to make all off their phone records and communications available. Don't know if that's true or not.

I believe that Brady/Pats' reluctance to come forward immediately after the Colts playoff game was a fear of being suspended for the Super Bowl.

It wouldn't have happened, but I think that they didn't want to take the risk.

    Here's a fun article.

    Sharp Football Analysis

The 2014 Patriots were just the 3rd team in the last 25 years to never have lost a fumble at home! The biggest difference between the Patriots and the other 2 teams who did it was that New England ran between 150 and 200 MORE plays this year than those teams did in the years they had zero home fumbles, making the Patriots stand alone in this unique statistic.

This was the NFL patronizing a Patriot hating public. Pure and simple. Given that the Wells report concluded that Patriots management had no knowledge of deflated balls, the loss of draft picks is egregious.

Difference would be, this actually sounds like they do it pre-inspection, and if the ref want to take air out they can. Not after the refs inspect.

Gotta admit, I'm pretty excited to see what Garoppolo can do. Really think they'll go 2-0 in Brady's absence.

Yes, no one on the Pats knew except the two equipment managers. They should be run outta town and their pay docked for the 1 Mil. Please.

The NFL is telling an organization that allows its coaches and players to think they are above the rules that the organization's culture has to change. This has happened before with the Pats. If you hurt the organization then the organization tells its coaches and players they better follow the rules or else. A million bucks and draft picks sends a message that systemic change is needed.

4 games seems pretty harsh to me. I hope he gets it reduced and I'm not a Patriots or Brady fan.

Heard a lot of talk about Brady tarnishing his legacy. Anyone feel that way?

    Let's do it.

Side note: Over/Under win total for the Patriots this year has been moved from 10.5 to 10 as a result of this, so in essence, no impact.
