I think the Saints won't skip a beat. Still the class of the South.

They lost their head coach, defensive coordinator (replaced with Spagnuolo) and their starting MLB.
I think Atlanta will win this division this year.

Tough one for me to call now. I feel like New Orleans has a good chance, but believe with all that happened that Atlanta likely has the best chance. IMO, this is one of the more interesting divisions to watch this season. I believe that Carolina will be better than last year and would not be too surprised at seeing them as a potential wild card. Changes have been made at Tampa, but not anywhere enough in my mind to make them a contender.

Very tough call!
I took ATl Def should be better outstanding on the outside. Saints cause I would never doubt Brees+love Spags flying under the radar. Car/Cam and Bucs could be most improved team in football.

The South gets the NFC East and AFC West as their common non-divisional games. The 2 remaining non-divisional opponents are generally the make or breaks of the season, especially in a close race, and are where the NFL tries to maintain parity.
The 2 non-divisional games not in common among the division opponents...
Falcons: Cardnials at home and @ Detroit on December 22.
Saints: 49ers at home and @ Green Bay
Bucs: Rams at home and @ Minnesota in October.
Panthers: Seahawks at home and @ the Chicago, again in October, when it's not really cold.
It appears that the Bucs have the best of that scheduling, but I'm not sure Schiano can get the ship right that quick, regardless of the schedule.
Given the above scheduling, any kind of improvement in their defense, and Cam Newton, I have to go with the Panthers.

Not sold on Matt Ryan yet. I also think the Saints can outscore anyone in this division.

For some reason I feel like Schiano is going to be a good hire in TB. Maybe it is just that I like some of his off the field moves thus far. But I was certainly not a fan when he was hired. Something tells me Penn State is no longer his dream job.

I believe that Schiano is a good fit for Tampa Bay too. As far as Penn State is concerned, I don't see them being on the dream radars of many now.

Shiano has personnel issues on the defensive side of the ball, that cannot be resolved with a coaching change. They simply can't stop the run. The Bucs front office did not address the defensive line in either the draft or in free agency. I hope they win the Super Bowl, but reality tends to tell me that this will not be a playoff year. Hope I'm wrong.
Go Bucs, Bulls, Bolts, and Rays.

I'll take New Orleans. I think the off-season issues will serve as motivation. The loss of Vilma hurts, but this team doesn't win with great defense. The value of their defense is based solely on taking the ball away. We'll have to wait and see if they can do well enough in that area. I think Gregg Williams was the biggest loss. He was the guy who set the tone of being aggressive and trying to take the ball away on defense. If Spags can field an aggressive defense that forces some TO's, they'll be alright.
I think Drew Brees can keep the offense rolling. He's the biggest reason they can absorb the off-season turmoil.
The Falcons shouldn't be far behind if Ryan continues to get better. They have the weapons to shoot it out with the Saints. The difference is the guy pulling the trigger. The defense leaves much to be desired.
I wouldn't sleep on Carolina. They've got a lot of talent on offense as well.
I think Tampa is the 4th place team.
